49ers Rumors: Colin Kaepernick Rips Twitter Critics After St. Louis Win, Fantasy Football Value Increases as Sam Bradford Struggles Against San Francisco Defense

Colin Kaepernick needed a strong performance on Thursday night. The quarterback struggled for two weeks straight after a strong Week 1 showing. The San Francisco 49ers starter just did not look like himself, struggling to get anything moving on both the ground and through the air. This has opened him up to a lot of criticism from folks who are counting on Kaepernick for fantasy points. After getting the win against the St. Louis Rams, Kaepernick's message to haters, "Tweet me now."

The 49ers stomped all over the St. Louis Rams, winning 35-11 on Thursday night. This is much better considering the two games prior, the team had only managed to put up 10 total points. Kaepernick threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns in the win, after failing to create a score against both Indianapolis and Seattle. Fans were not too please and lashed out via social media.

Kaepernick was caught trolling his haters, favoriting every negative tweet about him and using it as motivation.

"It's something that I do for me. It helps me," Kaepernick said, via ESPN.com.

Well, all of those tweets certainly did offer up some motivation after the strong performance put the quarterback back in the good graces of fans and fantasy owners. He still has some work to do in order to begin looking like his old self again. On Thursday night, Kaepernick only rushed for 11 yards, a season-low for him. Fans should be patient, he will get back to his high-scoring ways soon enough.

"We know the talent we have on this team," Kaepernick said. "We know what we're capable of."

Rams quarterback Sam Bradford could probably benefit from reading some negative tweets about him. There are sure to be plenty of them after his struggling performance against the 49ers. St. Louis is 1-3 right now with Bradford looking anything but a franchise quarterback. Bradford went 19 for 41 in passing for 202 yards. In the past two games, he was sacked 11 times. The addition of Jake Long is not proving to be worth much.

"Tomorrow's going to be a pretty tough day in the film room," Bradford said. "The good news is we have 10 days, 11 days until we play again and there's going to be ample time to get that corrected."

It appears the 49ers have ended their crisis mode and everyone can return to loving Kaepernick like they did last season. San Francisco is not going anywhere.
