The Detroit Tigers can clinch the A.L. Central with a victory over the Minnesota Twins. If you can't be there physically, be there spiritually and watch the live stream from your homes. Check out the live stream online of the Tigers vs. Twins as Detroit tries to get to the World Series again in 2013.

The Tigers could not close out the division yesterday as Jason Giambi took it back to 2001, playing hero for the Cleveland Indians. They won late on a two-run shot as Giambi kept them Indians alive in the A.L. Central and kept them in second place of the Wild Card.

They will give the ball to their ace in 2013. Max Scherzer takes the hill and he will go for his 21st victory of the year. At 20-3 and a 3.00 ERA, Scherzer has given Detroit everything they have needed as Justin Verlander has struggled in 2013. Scherzer won his last start and is 5-2 in his last 10 with a 2.97 ERA. Scherzer defeated the Chicago White Sox, going six innnings, allowing three earned runs on six hits and a walk, while striking out three batters. Against the Twins, Scherzer has dominated. He is 2-0 after pitching 13.1 innings, allowing four earned runs and striking out 17.

Kevin Correia has not been Max Scherzer-like, but he has been decent, despite his record proving otherwise. Correia is 9-12 with a 4.29 ERA. He went five innings in his last game against the tough Oakland Athletics, allowing only two earned runs despite placing 11 runners on base.
