So what will it be? Both the Tampa Bay Rays and the Texas Rangers are hanging by the thread in the A.L. Wild Card. Watch them face off in Game 3 of their four-game series. Check out the live stream for free online as these to playoff hopefuls attempt to take the lead in the Wild Card, at least for the moment.

One of these two teams will be in danger of falling into the third Wild Card spot as the 2013 season comes to a close. The Rays and Rangers are trailed by the aggressive and red hot Cleveland Indians. However, their focus will be on the field as both teams control their destiny. Actually, all three teams, including the Indians, control their destiny.

On the mound, the Rays will entrust their youngster, Chris Archer, who is turning 25 next week, with the baseball. It's pretty obvious that he would like to have the Rays in the middle of the playoff race as his birthday is around the corner. He's done a pretty decent job on the mound for Tampa so far in this month, when it matters most. He's 1-1 in his last two starts, but Archer has allowed only two runs over 10 innings pitched, while striking out nine batters and walking one. He's coming off six scoreless innings against the Minnesota Twins, where he allowed just three hits.

He will face off against lefty veteran, Derek Holland. The Rangers are hoping their young hurler can correct himself and give his team a chance to win this evening. It's been rough for Holland in September. Let's just say, his ERA has gone up over .40 since September began. Against division rivals, Los Angeles Angels and Oakland Athletics, Holland went 8.2 innings, surrendering 12 earned runs on 17 hits. That's equivalent to an ERA of 13-point-YUCK! Holland has had his bright moments in the playoffs for the Rangers, this would be a good time to tap back into those days.

First pitch is a little after 7 p.m. ET. The Rangers snapped a seven-game losing streak on Tuesday as Ian Kinsler, Elvis Andrus and Leonys Martin all homered in this ball game.
