Suspended Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun is out for the rest of the season after accepting a deal from the MLB for his connection to Biogenesis and now the disgraced star has lost a deal with a restaurant company in what could be the first of many financial hits.

According to ESPN.com, Braun and his relationship with SURG Restaurant Group is now over, with the CEO announcing that they are parting ways with the Brewers star. Braun was suspended for 65 games for connections to performance enhancing drugs and due to that, his business connections and marketing connections are starting to take a hit as well. The restaurant is the first deal to get severed for Braun and it includes the restaurant with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill.

The report says that the company will change the name at two spots, one that is open and one that is being built and that they will stay in business with Rodgers, who had previously defended Braun in the media when his suspension was overturned before last year. This could be the first in a long line of deals and endorsements that Braun loses.

According to reports, Braun is also calling season ticket holders personally. From Deadspin: "Hey "Pat this is Ryan Braun," Pat Guenther recalls. "Right then and there I knew it was his voice based on interviews I've seen on TV. I knew damn well it was his voice."
