Aaron Hernandez's fiancé and girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins has not been in public part from the times she has appeared in court regarding Hernandez' murder case and now that a Rolling Stone story has been published, even more information has come out and Jenkins is still hiding out from reporters.
According to Rolling Stone, Jenkins was questioned by police and at one point had a storage container in her name searched in case she disposed of the murder weapon. She originally was talking to authorities before, but eventually stopped after Hernandez told her to do so and she is very connected to Odin Lloyd, as her sister Shaneah was dating him at the time of his death. According to reports, she told police about scales and drug dealing by Lloyd, but police have dismissed those claims.

Jenkins has said that Lloyd dealt drugs allegedly and also that they had a safe in the basement and they found a scale used for weighing drugs and she said that it was Lloyd's. The Rolling Stone article details numerous pieces of information, including that Hernandez was addicted to PCP for some time and also issues while playing in the NFL and at Florida. He installed security in the home he shared with Jenkins after being paranoid and he also rented a safe house in Franklin that police eventually looked at as well.
Jenkins and Hernandez had an issue when they were in California as well, as Jenkins had the police come after an altercation that saw Hernandez put his hand through a window. While no arrests were made, the issue got the attention of coach Bill Belichick, who warned the tight end to stop. Jenkins has not been charged with any crimes and the police did not yet locate the murder weapon in Lloyd's death.
Jenkins was home the night of the murder and said she went to bed early and that she did not know where Hernandez went that night. She can be seen in video from that day as well as later the next day when she left with a bag that had a "rigid" object in it and when she returned, it was gone, which is why police searched her unit. Jenkins is now taking care of the baby that she had together with Hernandez and is dealing with plenty of stress, including that Hernandez will be in court again next week, although it is unclear if she will show up.
Hernandez is accused of first degree murder and he has pleaded not guilty to the crime and he could face life in prison. The two met through Jenkins and lawyers have said that authorities tied Hernandez to the crime through evidence like shell casings and cell phone messages as well as video and he is also charged with five gun charges that could keep him in jail even without the murder conviction.
