The NFL made a stunning decision on Thursday, as Peter King is reporting that the league will pay over $750 million to former players in a settlement.

This may show just how scared the NFL was of going to court and how much they realize that they were in the wrong about how they handled concussions and education for players over the years. There were over 4,000 players suing the league and now nearly $1 billion will go in the settlement and that doesn't even scratch the surface of what the NFL makes.

Peter King reported that the "nightmare" scenario for the NFL is over after settling with the 4,500 players. The lawsuit could have been crippling to the NFL.
