The NFL preseason is set to finish on Thursday night before the 53-man roster deadline on Saturday and with the regular season just a week away, people are getting very excited for the season to start.
The schedule for the preseason on Thursday night includes all 32 NFL teams playing and while most starters will sit out to preserve their health, there will be a number of players simply playing for the right to keep playing, including names like Tim Tebow, Zach Line and many more. Cuts to 75 players already went down and Thursday night could be the last chance for players to make the case that they should have jobs.
The most interesting game of the night of course is the New York Giants and the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium because of the Super Bowl rematch, but there is plenty to watch, especially what happens with Tim Tebow as well as injuries. Other interesting games include New Orleans visiting the Dolphins, as well as the Eagles playing the Jets in NY.
The Packers and Chiefs will go at it, as will the Raiders and Seahawks when Oakland visits Seattle and both teams will be looking to play well on Thursday. All 32 teams are in action and the Broncos and Ravens have the quickest runaround after they will play next Thursday to open the year. It is likely that Peyton Manning won't play.
