NFL Roster Cut Deadline 75-Man Player Updates

The NFL season is just around the corner and with teams heading into week 4 of the preseason, they must start cutting players and Tuesday is the first important date, as teams must get down from 90 to 75 players before getting to 53 by Saturday before the season starts.

A number of notable players have already been cut, including names like Aaron Curry, Donte Stallworth, Braylon Edwards, Joe McKnight and many more. Dan Carpenter was released from the Cardinals and the Ravens released tight end Visanthe Shiancoe after signing Dallas Clark instead.

Here is the full list of updates for the 4 PM Deadline on Tuesday.

Roster cuts from Pro Football Talk:

Arizona Cardinals:  Released kicker Dan Carpenter, tackle Joe Caprioglio, receiver Jarett Dillard, receiver Nick Edwards, center Deveric Gallington, defensive end Cordian Hagans, linebacker Korey Jones, defensive tackle Jonathan Mathis, quarterback Caleb TerBush, and cornerback Ronnie Yell.  Also moved linebacker Dan Giordano to reserve/PUP list.

Atlanta Falcons: Released tight end Tim Biere, fullback DeVonte Campbell, linebacker Nick Clancy, tight end Colin Cloherty, quarterback Seth Doege, defensive end Cam Henderson, tackle Jeff Nady, running back Donald Russell, safety Troy Sanders, center Matt Smith and defensive end Brandon Thurmond.

Baltimore Ravens: Released tight end Visanthe Shiancoe, receiver Tommy Streeter, running back Damien Berry, receiver Rashaad Carter, guard Jack Cornell, linebacker Bryan Hall, guard Ramon Harewood, tackle David Mims, defensive back Moe Lee, defensive end Will Pericak, receiver Gerrard Sheppard and linebacker Meshak Williams. Baltimore also placed linebacker Adrian Hamilton on injured reserve.

Buffalo Bills: Released wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers, defensive back Dominique Ellis, wide receiver DeMarco Sampson, cornerback Jumal Rolle and center Ryan Turnley.

Carolina Panthers: Made 12 moves over the weekend, including waived-injured tackle Bruce Campbell, wide receiver Kealoha Pilares and fullback Michael Zordich. Carolina also waived nine players: Quarterback Colby Cameron, punter Jordan Gay, cornerback Nick Hixson, kicker Morgan Lineberry, wide receiver Dale Moss, defensive end Louis Nzegwu, linebacker Ryan Rau, safety Ricardo Silva and guard Justin Wells.

Chicago Bears: Got down to 76 by cutting defensive end Kyle Moore, safety Tom Zbikowski, receiver Devin Aromashadu, defensive end Kyle Moore, running back Curtis Brinkley, defensive tackle Eric Foster, tackle A.J. Lindeman, center P.J. Lonergan, safety Derrick Martin, tight end Gabe Miller, tight end Leonard Pope, defensive tackle Brent Russell, linebacker Patrick Trahan, punter Tress Way, and linebacker Lawrence Wilson.

Cincinnati Bengals: Trimmed to 81 by terminating the contract of veteran tight end Richard Quinn and waiving defensive tackle Vaughn Meatoga, receiver Jheranie Boyd, cornerback Terrence Brown, linebacker Jordan Campbell, and punter/kicker Quinn Sharp.

Cleveland Browns: They began the process Monday by cutting four guys, getting them to 84: Defensive back Vernon Kearney, defensive lineman Dave Kruger, wide receiver Cordell Roberson and linebacker Tommy Smith. Placed running back Dion Lewis on injured reserve and waived wide receiver Jordan Norwood.

Denver Broncos:  Waived 11 on Sunday, including receiver Kemonte' Bateman, cornerback Mario Butler, tackle Manase Foketi, quarterback Ryan Katz, linebacker Uona Kaveinga, cornerback Nigel Malone, receiver Quincy McDuffie (waived/injured), receiver Greg Orton (waived/injured), tight end Deangelo Peterson, center/guard Quentin Saulsberry, and defensive end Lanston Tanyi.

Detroit Lions: Released defensive end Ronnell Lewis, wide receiver Cody Wilson, cornerback Myron Lewis and safety Chris Hope. Previously cut wide receiver Chaz Schilens, cornerback D.J. Johnson, offensive lineman Derek Hardman, defensive tackle John Drew, cornerback Ross Weaver and wide receiver Mike Thomas.

Green Bay Packers: Released quarterback Graham Harrell, wide receiver Alex Gillett, wide receiver Omarius Hines, runinng back Angelo Pease, defensive tackle Gilbert Peña and wide receiver Justin Wilson. Released kicker Giorgio Tavecchio.

Houston Texans: Released quarterback Stephen McGee, running back Ray Graham, linebacker Elliot Coffey, fullback Zach Boren, guard Bryan Collins, tackle Nick Mondek, defensive end Earl Okine, cornerback Travis Howard, punter Andrew Shapiro, linebacker Ja'Gared Davis, and tight end Adam Schiltz.

Indianapolis Colts: Got down to 78 by placing linebacker Lawrence Sidbury on injured reserve and waiving cornerback Teddy Williams, defensive tackle Kellen Heard, cornerback Johnny Adams, cornerback Allen Chapman, guard Danous Estenor, punter/kicker Brandon McManus, running back Davin Meggett, linebacker C.O. Prime, center Rick Schmeig, safety Ashante Williams and wide receiver Maurice Williams.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Got down to 75 two days early by cutting long snapper Jeremy Cain, linebacker Luke Ingram, guard Mark Asper, punter Ken Parrish, cornerback Lionel Smith, linebacker Maalik Bomar, linebacker Jeremiah Green, defensive end J.D. Griggs, defensive end Paul Hazel, wide receiver Jamal Miles, safety Ray Polk and tackle Roderick Tomlin. Jacksonville placed 2013 seventh-round cornerback Jeremy Harris on injured reserve.

Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs released quarterback Ricky Stanzi and veteran wide receiver Terrance Copper among 14 cuts. The others released were: Defensive back Vince Agnew, defensive end Miguel Chavis, offensive lineman Ryan Durand, offensive lineman Hutch Eckerson, defensive back Otha Foster III, offensive lineman A.J. Hawkins, defensive end Rob Lohr, cornerback Kamaal McIlwain, running back  Jordan Roberts, wide receiver Tyler Shoemaker, defensive back Neiko Thorpe and fullback Braden Wilson.

Miami Dolphins: Waived five players Friday: Guards Jeff Braun and Chandler Burden, defensive tackle Chris Burnette, linebacker Alonzo Highsmith and wide receiver Kenny Stafford.

Minnesota Vikings: Released defensive end Lawrence Jackson, receiver LaMark Brown, receiver Erik Highsmith, guard Tyler Holmes, defensive end Marquis Jackson, linebacker Stanford Keglar, defensive back Greg McCoy, running back Bradley Randle, receiver Chris Summers, quarterback James Vandenberg, center Camden Wentz, running back Jerodis Williams and defensive back Roderick Williams.

New England Patriots: Made 11 roster moves Monday, including the release of wide receiver Kamar Aiken, cornerback Brandon Jones, linebacker Niko Koutouvides, cornerback LeQuan Lewis and long-snapper Mike Zupancic. Also placed defensive lineman Armond Armstead and wide receiver Mark Harrison on the reserve/non-football injury list as well as putting rookie defensive tackle Cory Grissom and offensive tackle Marcus Zusevics on injured reserve. Cornerback Stephon Morris and defensive lineman Scott Vallone were re-signed.

New York Giants: Placed safety Stevie Brown on IR, and released linebacker Aaron Curry, fullback Ben Guidugli, wide receivers Brandon Collins and Terrence Sinkfield, tight ends Jamie Childers and Chase Clement, offensive linemen Michael Jasper and Austin Holtz, linebackers Jake Muasau and Etienne Sabino, defensive tackle Frank Okam and defensive backs Laron Scott, Junior Mertile and Alonzo Tweedy.

New York Jets: The Jets cut 14 players Monday, including running back Joe McKnight and guard Stephen Peterman. Running back Chad Spann, offensive lineman Patrick Ford, offensive linemanTrey Gilleo, wide receiver Joe Collins, wide receiver Marcus Rucker, wide receiver K.J. Stroud, wide receiver Rahsaan Vaughn, linebacker Sean Progar-Jackson, defensive back Donnie Fletcher, defensive back Bret Lockett, punter Ryan Quigley and long snapper Patrick Scales were also let go. For the final cut down to 75, receiver Braylon Edwards was let go. Released tight end Hayden Smith.

Oakland Raiders: Cut Josh Cribbs and waived linebacker Keenan Clayton, linebacker Eric Harper, fullback Jon Hoese, receiver Sam McGuffie, guard Andrew Robiski, receiver Tray Session, defensive tackle Myles Wade, wide receiver Isiah Williams and center/guard Alex Parsons.

Philadelphia Eagles: Cut 10 players including wide receiver and punt returner Nick Miller, punter Brad Wing, tight end Derek Carrier, defensive end Eddie McClam, tackle Nic Purcell, defensive end/outside linebacker Isaac Remington, tight end Will Shaw, defensive tackle Daryell Walker, cornerback Eddie Whitley and long snapper James Winchester.

Pittsburgh Steelers:  Released tackle D'Anthony Batiste, running back Baron Batch, tackle Mike Farrell, receiver David Gilreath, receiver Tyler Shaw, cornerback Ryan Steed, linebacker Stevenson Sylvester, tight end Peter Tuitupou, quarterback John Parker Wilson, receiver J.D. Woods, and running back Jeremy Wright.  Placed linebacker Sean Spence on reserve/PUP, waived-injured guard Justin Cheadle and cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke, and placed defensive end Nick Williams on the injured reserve list.

San Diego Chargers: Released 10 players on Sunday, reducing their roster to 80. Let go were running back Edwin Baker, center Colin Baxter, cornerback Greg Brown, wide receiver Deon Butler, safety Tony Burnett, guard Brandyn Dombrowski, quarterback Nathan Enderle, punter Richard Kent, defensive lineman Jamarcus McFarland and tight end Dallas Walker. They also placed outside linebacker Melvin Ingram on reserve/PUP, and placed rookie cornerback Steve Williams and undrafted defensive tackle Byron Jerideau on IR.

San Francisco 49ers: Released quarterback Scott Tolzien, offensive lineman Al Netter, running back D.J. Harper, punter Colton Schmidt and linebacker Joe Holland.

Seattle Seahawks: Released eight players on Monday - wide receiver Perez Ashford, linebacker Kyle Knox, tight end Jameson Konz, tight end Andrei Lintz, tight end/long-snapper Kyle Nelson, defensive tackle Martin Parker and linebacker Craig Wilkins. Club also placed rookie defensive tackle Jesse Williams on injured reserve.

St. Louis Rams: Released kicker/punter Brett Baer, wide receiver Demetrius Fields, wide receiver Andrew Helmick, long snapper Jorgen Hus, quarterback Tim Jenkins, defensive tackle Al Lapuaho, linebacker Joseph Lebeau, tight end Colby Prince, wide receiver Raymond Radway (pictured), cornerback Robert Steeples and offensive lineman Graham Pocic on Monday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers:  Released on Monday receiver Carlton Mitchell, defensive end Ernest Owusu, quarterback Adam Weber, and defensive end Markus White, receiver Derek Hagan, fullback Spencer Larsen, and safety Troy Nolan.  Cornerback Anthony Gaitor (ACL) and running back Michael Smith (foot) have been placed on injured reserve.

Washington Redskins:  Released on Monday fullback Eric Kettani, linebacker Ricky Elmore, kicker John Potter, receiver Chip Reeves, and linebacker Quan Sturdivant, and receiver Donte' Stallworth.  The team also placed linebacker Keenan Robinson and safety Phillip Thomason injured reserve, and waived-injured cornerback Richard Crawford and linebacker Jeremy Kimbrough.
