The Aaron Hernandez murder case will be back in court this week as the former Patriots star is facing a probable cause hearing on Thursday and after police found a gun connected to a double murder from Boston last year in a car of Jailene Diaz-Ramos, authorities are looking to see if Hernandez was involved at all.

According to ESPN.com, the police found the gun in a search after a traffic accident involving Ramos, who said that the gun belonged to her friend or boyfriend names "Chicago" who left it in the car so he couldn't have to bring it into work. Ramos is from Bristol, where Hernandez is originally from and the .38 caliber gun that was recovered matched ballistics from the double murder last year. Ramos, according to Larry Brown Sports, has been arrested multiple times prior to the gun issue and after that was discovered she was charged with possession of a firearm without a license and other charges.

The gun was originally used in a dive by shooting that saw the murders of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado and that case remains unsolved and now the gun has been located. The SUV that reportedly drove next to the car matched a description of one that police seized from Hernandez's uncle's home and this could be another connection for the player to the crime as well. The 19-year-old was in an accident and according to Heavy.com, she is friends with Hernandez's brother DJ on Facebook and now she is out of jail on $1,000 bail and she also posted on Facebook to show that she had her car back.

Ramos has been arrested multiple times over the past year and she also posted about some heartbreak on Facebook. Ramos may live in New Britain and she is originally from Bristol and she also was once cited and arrested for driving with an expired license. The ballistics from the gun matched the double murder scene and now Hernandez could be found to be connected to the case.

Some reports came out over the summer that Lloyd was killed due to knowledge of that case and possibly Hernandez's involvement, but those have not been confirmed by police. The motive for the killing supposedly was due to a nightclub dispute before Lloyd was killed and a similar dispute may have led to the double murders. The night of the double murder Hernandez was at the nightclub the two men were at and reports said they had an issue with each other's groups.

Hernandez is currently in jail awaiting trial and he is charged with first degree murder in the crime and he has pleaded not guilty. Hernandez is in solitary confinement while waiting for the trial and he could be facing life in prison for the charges.
