Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is due back in court on Thursday for a probable cause hearing that was delayed from back in June and for the third time since he has been in a jail, a letter was released that Hernandez wrote to a fan and ti mentioned his baby daughter Avielle Janelle.

Hernandez is currently being held in the Bristol County House of Correction in North Dartmouth in solitary confinement until the trial in the murder of Odin Lloyd and the probable cause hearing is the next major date in the case. Hernandez has pled not guilty to first degree murder charges and two other men connected to the crime in Ernest Wallace and Carlos Ortiz have also been arrested. According to Radar Online, another letter has been released that Hernandez wrote in response to a fan and it mentions his baby daughter.

Hernandez wrote that he missed his "little girl" and he also expressed worry that his daughter might not know him and that he had to hear her say his name for the first time while in jail. Hernandez's fiance and the mother of his child Shayanna Jenkins is left alone while he is in jail for the murder and she was investigated by police after they had reason to think she was hindering the case and they searched a storage unit that was rented in her name.

Authorities did not take anything from the storage unit and Jenkins was not charged and the reason they searched it was because they had reason to believe that she may have tried to dispose of the murder weapon. According to Carlos Ortiz, Hernandez hid the guns after the murder in the basement of his North Attleboro home and later police observed surveillance and saw Jenkins leaving the home with a bag that had a "rigid object" in it. The video showed her returning later and after police searched the unit they did not find anything and Jenkins was not charged with a crime.

Police have yet to locate the murder weapon in the shooting of Lloyd and they believe it is a .45 caliber weapon, which Hernandez had ammunition for. Investigators searched extensively in woods near Hernandez's home as well as a pond in Bristol, but nothing was found.

"I miss my little girl terribly an (sic) my biggest fear of all is she won't daddy," the former New England Patriots star, 23, complained to pen pal Collin Imm, who has supplied a copy of the letter exclusively to RadarOnline.com. "She said daddy (for the) first time or should I say "Da Da" and (I) had to hear it from jail."
