Los Angeles Dodgers Live Stream: Watch Online as They Look to Start New Streak vs. Marlins

Aug 20, 2013 04:55 PM EDT

The Los Angeles Dodgers face the Miami Marlins in the second game of their series. The Dodgers are on a two-game skid after losing the first game, 6-2. Despite their recent struggles, they are in possession of first place in the N.L. West division and they will be looking to start a new streak against the Marlins. Check out the live stream for this game as the Dodgers and Marlins face off at 7 p.m. ET.

Will the Dodgers fall to three consecutive losses? Maybe. On the mound for Hollywood's team will be a struggling Chris Capuano. He's surrendered nine earned runs on 20 hits in his last 9.1 innings pitched, but has no-decisions for both starts. Lucky man. The good news for the Dodgers and Capuano is that he's faced the Marlins this season and pitched a great game, surrendering only one hit, which was a home run in 6.1 innings pitched, while striking out seven batters.

One guy who knows about no-decisions is the Marlins' pitcher, Jacob Turner. He's 3-4 in 14 starts this season, while posting a 2.89 ERA. In his last start against the Kansas City Royals, he pitched well enough to get the win. However, after five innings of one-run ball, Turner couldn't get enough support to get the win. He was a bit wild in that start, walking six hitters, which explain his removal in the fifth inning.

The Dodgers are looking to snap their two-game losing streak. Okay, it's only two games, but that's been the first time in two months since the Dodgers lost consecutive games.

Last night, the Marlins came out swinging. Mike Stanton hit a frozen rope tha bounced off the monstrosity in center field. The first six hitters in the Marlins' lineup had at least a hit and an RBI in this game. Heck, even pitching Jose Fernandez helped his own cause, scoring a run after getting a base hit.
