Tom Brady is an ironman for the New England Patriots, but after a non-contact injury in practice on Wednesday, he might be out for a bit, including the preseason game in Week 2 against the Buccaneers, which New England held a joint practice with leading up to the game.

According to Pro Football Talk, Brady felt something wrong in his knee in practice and left the field after talking with head coach Bill Belichick. Brady is the one player the Pats cant' lose after going through the Aaron Hernandez situation and if he is hurt there could be some media craziness when it comes to Tim Tebow.

Brady did not appear seriously hurt and he likely is fine, but the Patriots wanted to be cautious, as it was the same knee where he hurt his ACL in 2008 and lost the whlee season. Brady came off the field with a trainer and while the injury isn't a tear or anything, Belichick thought it best to get him off the field. The Patriots feel that they can win the Super Bowl this year despite dealing with a number of injuries and new players and after the loss of Wes Welker to the Broncos the team is hoping some rookie wideouts can step up.
