The San Francisco 49ers had a very exciting meeting against the Denver Broncos in Week 1. However, as the Week 2 schedule rolls along, their next matchup will not be much of a thrill as they face the Kansas City Chiefs. Regardless, football is back and it's worth rejoicing even if the team's best player might be out of commission.

The 49ers have enough star power to draw crowds. They will head to Arrowhead Stadium for their Week 2 meeting. The Chiefs were one of the NFL's worst teams in 2012, going 2-14. On the contrary, the 49ers were one of football's best and the winners of the NFC West title.

One thing both teams have in common? They both lost in Week 1 of the NFL Preseason. It's no problem. The 49ers are confident they can win when it truly matters. However, the same can't be said about the Chiefs, who received good and bad news on Monday afternoon. Jamaal Charles, their star running back, was carted off the field due to a foot injury. The good news is that x-rays came back negative. Without Charles, the Chiefs don't have any offense as he was their workhorse in 2012.

The 49ers are trying to fill in the hole left by Michael Crabtree, who was sidelined due to a torn Achilles. Luckily for the Niners, they acquired Super Bowl champion, Anquan Boldin. He should be a dynamic addition as the Niners already possess one of the game's best tight end in Vernon Davis and Mario Manningham has been clutch in the past. Crabtree's production will be hard to duplicate as he went for over 1,000 yards receiving with nine touchdowns receptions to lead the team, but Boldin will provide the Niners will solid offense.

We will bring you more information as the game nears. Kickoff will be at 8 p.m. on Friday evening. Check back with SWR as we will bring you TV info and provide a live stream link, enabling fans to stay connected with their team no matter where they are.
