The New York Jets have finalized the dates and kickoff times as they're set to have four preseason games, which were unveiled last week by the NFL.
The Jets kickoff their preseason with a road game against the Detroit Lions on Friday night, Aug. 9. This will be the fifth time these two teams have met in the preseason since their first meeting in 2005 and Friday's matchup is set to start at 7:30 p.m. ET and the game will be televised in the New York area on WCBS-TV, channel 2.
The Jets will have their home preseason opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday, Aug. 17. This will be the first time these two teams will meet ever in a preseason matchup and that is scheduled to kickoff also at 7:30 p.m. ET.
