Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III (10) is introduced to the home town crowd before playing the Seattle Seahawks in their NFL NFC wildcard playoff football game in Landover, Maryland January 6."

The Washington Redskins are one of the most anticipated teams to take the field in the preseason, as everyone is wondering whether RG3 is healthy or not and while he won't be playing in the preseason this year, it still will be on everyone' minds as the team takes on the Tennessee Titans on Thursday.

The Redskins will have very high expectations for the 2013 season, as the team made the playoffs and won the division last year for the first time in quite a while and after Griffin took the league by storm, many are wondering if he can do it again. The team went 10-6 last season and 5-1 against the NFC East, including in Week 17 against the Cowboys, defeating Dallas to send them home for the playoffs. The team lost to the Seahawks at home in the postseason and now Griffin will get a full preseason and camp as the main leader on the team.

Griffin led the team in passing with 3,200 yards and fellow rookie Alfred Morris was fantastic with over 1,600 yards rushing and if Griffin wasn't around, he would have won rookie of the year. The team ranked first in rushing with Griffin scrambling a lot and he took care of the ball, but the defense was awful against the pass, ranking 30th among teams with over 280 per game, although the rush defense was fantastic, ranking fifth.

The Redskins are a balanced team on offense and after playing against the Titans the team will host the Steelers on preseason Monday night football and later will host the Bills before playing against the Bucs on the road. The team has an early bye in Week 5 and will play the Eagles first on Monday night in Week 1 before travelling to Green Bay, playing Detroit and travelling to Oakland leading into the bye week. Coming out they will have Dallas and then a straight stretch of teams before finishing the year against the New York Giants on the road.
