Tim Tebow is a quarterback for the New England Patriots and since he has such a following, even people around the world know who he is, which is why he was featured in an ad for the Elite Football League of India, for which Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Warne and Mike Ditka are investors.
According to Deadspin.com, Tebow was featured in a bad photoshop job and he is throwing with the opposite hand in the poster that was placed on the EFLI Facebook page and promoted a game between the Delhi Defenders against the Kolkata Vipers. The picture is strange because it features him throwing the wrong way in a Broncos uniform and now he obviously is a member of the Patriots and it also shows revered the Reebok logo and his number.
It is unclear how many people came out just because of Tebow, but clearly he is a worldwide phenomenon and one reason to see football in India.
