Luis Suarez will attempt to force his way out of Liverpool this week, as he and his advisors plan to engineer a £40m move to Arsenal.
It is believed that they are considering legal action after feeling let down over what they consider to be broken promises they claim were made if Liverpool missed out on the Champions League.
Suarez's agent Pere Guardiola claimed that Liverpool verbally agreed to negotiate if an offer of more than £35m came in and that while they would never sell to bitter rivals Manchester United, offers from big London clubs, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich would be entertained.
Suarez also said that Liverpool promised to tell him about any negotiations and now he feels let down because they've rejected an offer from Arsenal.
Now all that remains to be seen is whether or not Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers can keep a player whose intent is on leaving.
However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists they have always acted with class and respect and tried to be private in their dealings. It was Liverpool who went public on both bids and the £40,000,001 offer.
Wenger said: "We try to do it properly but a transfer is always an agreement between three parties and we have always done that until now."
