Major League Baseball has a bombshell in its hands and when it decides to detonate it, there is a chance that third baseman Alex Rodriguez will never play for the Yankees or in the majors again.

Rumors have speculated that A-Rod could get a full ban for this season and next season or a possible lifetime ban and as all that goes on, Deadspin.com brings us a fantastic picture of commissioner Bud Selig and a fan in a photo earing an A-Roid t-shirt.

Alex Rodriguez is dealing with tons of questions and speculation after Ryan Braun was suspended for his connection to the Biogenesis clinic and with A-Rod out of the lineup still, many have wondered why and now that his doctor said in an interview with Mike Francesa that he was fine, more questions will come up.

According to Hardball Talk, the Yankees may be hoping for a lifetime ban to get out of the $114 million they still owe him and some have speculated that the MLB and the team are working together to do so. The team has denied doing it and while A-Rod appeared to be ready to come back, his injury is keeping him out and the longer it goes on the more questions both sides will need to answer.

Rodriguez is likely next in line for a suspension from the MLB after Ryan Braun cut a deal and reports from ESPN.com and other outlets say that a possible deal could come since the league has more evidence on him than they did on Braun.

Rodriguez has been dogged by questions since being out of the lineup all year with an injury and just as he was set to come back, Braun was suspended and now it appears that Rodriguez may not play again this year. Now that Ryan Braun is suspended for 65 games after taking a deal with Major League Baseball, Alex Rodriguez may be next on the chopping block and many feel that his recent injury is connected to him knowing that a suspension is coming.
