The Miami Heat have won back to back championships and after losing Mike Miller from the roster through amnesty, the team may add another guard and a name that keeps coming up is Mo Williams, as he is no longer going to sign back with the Utah Jazz.

According to the Miami Herald, Williams is interested in joining LeBron James on the Heat next season. The report says that if he doesn't get any offers that are higher than the minimum, he will consider signing with the Heat to make a championship run. The team is also considering Greg Oden, as are the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans, but the report also says that some officials want to only offer the minimum due to his knee problems.

Oden is working on his decision and while he has only played in 82 games, he appears fully healthy for now. He was the former number one overall pick for the Blazers, but knee injuries derailed his career. Williams is 30-years-old but he could give some solid minutes off the bench after averaging 12.9 points and 6.2 assists per game  for the Jazz last season and other teams like the Spurs are also looking at him.

Williams previously played with James in Cleveland and back then he was able to shoot over 45 percent from three and with James getting even better than those days, the two could mesh well together, as Williams is solid on D too. Last season he shot under 40 percent from three so he will have to do better than that and playing with James could be the key.
