New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez appears in court on July 24 for a probable cause hearing that was later delayed. His girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins was in court while her sister was not present."

The murder case for Aaron Hernandez took another step on Wednesday and with the tight end back in court for the first time after being denied bail a few weeks ago, the probable cause hearing that was scheduled was pushed back and now he will next appear in August as the prosecution deals with more evidence and other issues in the case.

Hernandez appeared without a clean shaven face and some beard scruff and had on a button down white shirt and suit jacket as the proceedings took place and he also was able to mouth "I love you" to his family as he was in the courtroom before the judge moved the date.

Hernandez has been in solitary confinement as he waits for trial on charges of first degree murder for the death of Odin Lloyd, who was found less than a mile from Hernandez's home riddled with bullets. The state is working on the case and is also convening a grand jury to look at a double murder from last year that the tight end may have been involved in as well. Hernandez was painted as the orchestrator of the shooting after Lloyd disrespected him in a club and the evidence that is being used against him includes bullets that were found at the scene, text messages with Lloyd as well as video surveillance.

Those two accomplices, Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace, are both in police custody and the judge also unsealed other search warrants in Connecticut after ones in Massachusetts were unsealed, bringing out plenty of new details about the case. Hernandez was initially agitated with police when the investigation began and he also told his girlfriend to stop speaking to them after she started talking to authorities. Hernandez was released by the Patriots after he was arrested and now he is facing more charges depending on what happens with the grand jury.

Bill Belichick and players had the chance to finally comment on Hernandez now that the case is moving forward and training camp is starting and the main premise was that everyone had moved on. Brady and Belichick said the same thing and that the team would try to use the situation to get better in the future. Hernandez is being held in solitary confinement as he waits for his trial and his family was in court on Wednesday, including fiancé Shayanna Jenkins and his mother and he mouthed the words I love you to his family as he was brought into the courtroom.

Tom Brady and others spoke about Hernandez this week, with the Patriots quarterback saying that he has moved on, while Bill Belichick addressed the media for the first time since the murder, saying that he was disappointed in what happened and that he will try and make the team better this year and how they move along in the future. Belichick said that they would learn from what happened and that he wouldn't comment specifically since it is still being investigated.

The Patriots training camp has numerous issues tied to Hernandez, including what the team will do at tight end. The team has Rob Gronkowski coming back from injury and so far all signs point to Tim Tebow simply playing quarterback for the club. Training camp gets started this week and it will be the first chance to see Tebow in action.
