SEC Media week had plenty of dramatics going on with Johnny Manziel after his antics at the Manning Passing Academy Camp and while all that was going on, LSU Tigers head coach Les Miles had his own hands full with the battery arrest case involving running back Jeremy Hill.

Back in April Jill was involved in an incident at a bar that involved him punching another man in the head and making the case even worse was the video of the incident, showing that the running back sucker punched the man while he wasn't looking and Hill also appeared to gloat after knocking him to the ground. Hill pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor battery assault charge in court last week and the judge in the case warned the running back that he was walking a thin line and that he was coming close to ruining his life.

The court appearance and charge allowed Hill to stay out of jail on probation and the judge spoke about another running back from LSU names Cecil Collins, who also had a very promising career before ruining it with arrest issues and time behind bars. Hill was given two years of probation and the further issues may continue for him, as he was already on probation when he was arrested after he pleaded guilty in 2012 after having a relationship with a young girl while in high school.

Hill was the leading rusher for the team last season and Miles faced a number of questions during the week about the case and his status and said that he was having a tough time and that he hasn't been with the team at all during the summer. Cell phone video showed Hill's punch and subsequent celebration and after being the top rusher for the team with over 750 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns, his college career is now in jeopardy.

Hill was suspended indefinitely after getting involved in the incident involving punching a 20-year-old man outside a Baton Rouge bar in April that knocked the man unconscious. Hill was previously charged in the case with simple battery and after all the flashes of talent he showed last season, there is a chance he may never play for the Tigers again. He showed some explosive production last season after gaining nearly 700 yards and scoring 10 touchdowns in a seven game stretch at the end of last season.
