The Aaron Hernandez case is moving along through the court system and while the Patriots tight end is sitting in solitary confinement waiting for his next court appearance, police are still working on searching for evidence in the shooting of Odin Lloyd.

According to Pro Football Talk, authorities have been searching roadways and other areas near where Lloyd was killed and near the home of the tight end and his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins in North Attleboro. Lloyd's body was found less than a mile from the home and Hernandez was taken into custody soon after. The police are searching Highway 128 South and along Route 95 in Dedham as well as grass and shoulder areas nearby.

The report says that the authorities are looking for all types of evidence, including a missing mirror from a rental car as well as any stray bullets, shell casings as well as the murder weapon, which has been found to be a .45 caliber gun. The side mirror was missing from the rental car thought to be used the night of the murder and now police are looking for any extra evidence as well.

Hernandez has been a good prisoner in jail according to reports and he will be back in court for a probable cause hearing next week. Hernandez was released by the Patriots soon after being arrested and now he will likely face trial next year. An accomplice in Carlos Ortiz said another man admitted to hearing Hernandez confess to the crime and that will be the crux of the case against him.
