Oakland Raiders second-round draft pick Menelik Watson was super excited to get his ACC Championship ring from Florida State, but when the offensive lineman received the ring, he was surprised to find a mistake on it greeting him as an SEC champ.

According to ESPN.com, Watson posted on Twitter the news about his ring, showing off a picture that shows the ring honoring the Seminoles as SEC champions and not from the ACC. Obviously Alabama won the SEC while the Seminoles won the ACC and Watson said perhaps someone fell asleep at their machine or was an SEC fan. Watson still said he dug the ring, although it said the wrong conference, calling it "really nice."

FSU said that so far Watson's ring is the only one with the typo, saying that the other rings all have been reported as looking okay and that no one else has reported that theirs was wrong. Watson and EJ Manuel, players the left school, have received their rings, while the rest of the team will get theirs later on before the season. It was the school's 13th ACC title and although it might be considered its first SEC title.

The team defeated Georgia Tech 21-15 last year to win the conference for the first time since 2005 and now Watson can show off his ring to his Raiders teammates when they start training camp on July 25. Watson was selected by general manager Reggie McKenzie in the second round and he will be expected to challenge for a starting job in training camp once he signs his rookie deal. Watson came from a tough background and his improbable rise to the NFL he has been able to appreciate his humble beginnings. The 24-year-old was taken with the 42nd pick in the draft as the highest-drafted player ever from Britain and he only started playing the sport in 2011, meaning he has had a quick time to adjust to American football.
