The man reportedly told police numerous details about the night of Odin Lloyd's murder, including that Hernandez had a gun and picked up Lloyd."

The Aaron Hernandez murder investigation got more interesting on Tuesday when a number of details became public when search warrants and affidavits were released and now one of the biggest revelations was that Carlos Ortiz flipped on the tight end to police.

According to Pro Football Talk, Ortiz reportedly told police his perspective on the entire story, telling authorities what he saw and did the night that Odin Lloyd was murdered. Hernandez has been painted as the orchestrator of the murder and the shooting allegedly sparked from when Lloyd was talking to the wrong people at a club that upset Hernandez. The report says that Ortiz told police what he did that night, including his interactions with Hernandez and another accomplice, Ernest Wallace.

Ortiz told police on audio and video about the night of the murder, saying that he arrived at the mansion home with Wallace in North Attleboro after midnight on June 17 and then waited for Hernandez. A babysitter let him in the house as Hernandez and his fiancé were out to dinner and he said he saw a "small and large handgun" in the house. Later he said that when Hernandez returned with Jenkins, he saw the tight end with a gun.

Ortiz said the three men then left the house after 1 AM and went to pick up Odin Lloyd, stopping to get gas before travelling to get Lloyd and then returning to Attleboro. Ortiz said that he heard Hernandez speak directly to Lloyd about their issues, saying that he was "chilling" with the wrong people and that they "squashed" their issues with shaking hands.

Ortiz said he then fell asleep in the car and that when he woke up, the car was stopped and Hernandez, Wallace, and Lloyd got out of the car to "urinate". This makes more sense to the info that came out yesterday, which said that Wallace told Ortiz that Hernandez admitted he did it, as at first it appeared strange that Ortiz was in the car but did not know, but if he was asleep, that makes more sense. Ortiz said he heard gunshots and did not know who fired the gun, only that the two men got back in the car without Lloyd.

After getting home, Wallace asked Ortiz to get a gun from the rear of the driver's seat and he did that and took it inside to give to Hernandez. Ortiz told police about what Hernandez said to Lloyd in the car as well as other details about the night of the murder.
