It will be an underdog versus an underdog. Murray is considered an underdog because he isn't Roger Federer at Wimbledon. Being that he hails from Great Britain, many wish it would be him commanding the courts at the All England Club. Last year, Murray had a chance to win the championship, but it was the hare who won this match. Murray finished as the runner-up, giving an emotional speech that showed how much he cared about winning this grand slam title.
For Janowicz, being an underdog means being the lowest seeded player still alive in the tournament. It means being the first Polish player to make the Men's Singles semifinals at Wimbledon. This is Janowicz's first semifinal grand slam in his six-year career. Janowicz proves to have a bright career ahead of him as the 23-year-old is playing this well in only his second time at Wimbledon. He has, without a doubt, built a fan base during the tournament.
Though both players have been described as underdogs, the truth is, Murray is expected to win. He is the 2012 runner-up and the No. 2 seed in the tournament. Janowicz is the 23rd seed.
