Odin Lloyd is the victim in the Aaron Hernandez case and often times when high-profile celebrities and athletes are accused of serious crimes, the victim is often forgotten in media coverage, so here is a look at some information and pictures of Lloyd.

Hernandez was arrested and charged with the murder of Lloyd and at his arraignment and bail hearing numerous details about the case came out, including that he was killed in an execution style by whoever shot him, possibly Hernandez. Five shell casings were found and Lloyd's body was discovered in an industrial park a mile from Hernandez's home. The state says they have evidence that the two were together that evening and that Hernandez was seen with a gun hours before the shooting.

Lawyers also presented a motive for the killing, saying that Lloyd possibly disrespected Hernandez at a club for talking to people he didn't like. Reports have also come out about a second case involving a double murder that could be tied to Hernandez, saying that Lloyd may have known information about it, or that the club incident was connected to that case as well. Lloyd sent text messages to his sister before he died, telling her that he was with "NFL" and "just so you know" which lawyers said implied that he was afraid for his life.

Lloyd was a 27-year-old semi-pro football player for the Boston Bandits and he also worked for a landscaping company. He was dating the sister of Hernandez's girlfriend and the night of the murder he was with Hernandez, who lawyers said asked him to come along. Police have arrested another man in connection with the murder and Hernandez is being held in jail now without bail after being denied it for a second time and he could face life in prison for the shooting.
