New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is in a bail hearing on charges of murder and weapons violations in Attleborough, Massachusetts, after being arrested, June 27, 2013. Hernandez, a 23-year-old rising football star with the New England Patriots, was arrested by police in a murder investigation and fired by the team on Wednesday. Aaron Hernandez is a former New England Patriots player and will remain in jail after being denied bail in his case after a judge decided that he could be a flight risk and did not deserve the chance to get out of lockup.

Hernandez's fiancé Shayanna Jenkins was in the court on Thursday and spoke with his lawyer after the hearing was over and bail was denied. All the new news comes after Hernandez was also reported to be investigated for another unsolved case involving two men shot deal in Boston last year. Hernandez was described as a cold blooded killer and orchestrator of the execution of Odin Lloyd and another man was also arrested in connection with the case.

Jenkins is the mother of Hernandez's child and her sister was the one who was dating Lloyd at the time of his death and that is the connection between the two. Police brought in Hernandez on Wednesday after executing an arrest warrant and he was arraigned in court and charged with first degree murder in the case. His lawyers argued that Hernandez should have been allowed out of jail to deal with his case and to recover from injuries, but it was denied.

Prosecutors made some interesting statements and what they said in the hearing may mean that someone is working with the authorities, as they could be telling them about motive in the case. The state argued about the motive for Lloyd's death and that could be in connection with the double murder from Boston last year. Hernandez was described as a man without a record and a homeowner and a member of the community in his defense of being allowed out of jail, but that was denied.

The prosecution argued about the timeline of events and said that Hernandez was seen getting back to his home soon after the shots was fired. Lloyd's body was found a mile from the home and the evidence against him includes text messages as well as video about him on the night of the murder.
