The New England Patriots are dealing with a tough situation with Aaron Hernandez as he is being investigated in connection with a murder and on Monday he appeared for the first time since Friday, peeking out of a window of his mansion looking out at the reporters waiting for him.

According to the LA Times, Hernandez appeared at the window of his mansion on Monday and that came as reports said that a warrant is waiting to be executed for his arrest. Hernandez has been involved in the case since last week and some media outlets have reported that he was seen on video with Odin Lloyd the night he was murdered. Police have said that Hernandez destroyed his cell phone and security system at the home and he could be facing obstruction of justice charges.

Hernandez has not been charged with anything yet and police searched his home for three hours on Saturday before searching a pond nearby on Monday. An officer appeared in a wet suit and others had a metal detector as they searched the area. The police may have been looking for the gun that was used and police dogs were also brought in. The police left with evidence in bags and so far reports have been conflicting about his arrest.

He reportedly gave his cell phone to police in pieces and was with Lloyd the night of the murder. The body was found a mile from his home and police said that the murder rook place where the body was found. If Hernandez is charged he could face a fine or suspension from the league and depending on the outcome his days in the NFL could be over.
