The rivalry between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys is one of the most intense and exciting in the NFL, and for 14 seasons ex-Giant Michael Strahan took pride in tormenting the Cowboys and their fans.

Now, even while retired, the tormenting continues on.

According to the Dallas Morningn News, Strahan took his tormenting to the internet and on Sunday took to his Twitter account to stir up some controversy for his former rivals. Once the NFL's official Twitter account tweeted a link to Gil Brandt's prediction that the Cowboys would win the NFC East, Strahan took that as an opportunity to take a swipe at the Cowboys.

The tweet unleashed a flurry of responses, many from irate Cowboy fans who were all too eager to return the favor to do some trash talking themselves to Strahan.

However, at one point during the barrage of tweets, one fan took a different approach and told Strahan that he wish he could've played in Dallas instead of in New York. Strahan, being the competitor that he is, responded by saying, "If I did they would have won a SB [Super Bowl]!"

After a while Strahan later then took a different approach and dropped his trash talking and later sent out new tweets to try make peace.
