It didn't take long for the Miguel leg drop to gain comparisons to one of the more popular leg drops in the history of leg drops. Of course, it reminded many of Hulk Hogan and his finisher as one of the world's most famous wrestlers used the move right before pinning his opponents for the three count.

Now, here we have Miguel's finishing touch on two fans. Wait, there's something wrong right? Miguel, an R&B singer, was performing at the Billboard Awards. He was singing his hit "Adorn" when he became inspired to leap over fans in his attempt to complete a jump kick. It even sounds like he's competing in an Olympic event, but the R&B singer completely bombed his jump and here's what happened.

Oh, you can fast forward to 2:53 as Miguel is prepping his jump with a couple of half crow-hops. His take-off looks good, but the pants are clearly to blame as they prevented extension and prompted his landing to a screeching halt over two fans faces. This is a new definition of a performer loving his fans. Miguel, with his big boots, could have easily skidded off the stage and completely botched the landing, disabling him from truly continuing his performance.

Miguel should have practiced the stunt with fans inside the standing area in front of the stage, but he'll learn next time. Instead, fans were reminded of the man who made the leg drop famous. Here's a tribute of Hogan performing his move.

Flawless. Miguel should look at this tape. There's no stepping on the faces of fans and more importantly, Hogan has a clean landing every single time.

And here's a meme of course. If Miguel was a wrestler and possible 100 pounds heavier, he could pull of the trick. However, on the stage, chances are he might want to do the jump-kick in place. At least for the fans' safety.
