It's the San Antonio Spurs vs. Memphis Grizzlies in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. If you can't watch the game or listen to the radio stream check out the live blog of Game 1 as the Spurs and Grizzlies attempt to stamp their ticket into the NBA Finals.

The Spurs are trying to slow down this red hot Grizzlies team. Memphis has defeated the Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder as the No. 5 seed in the West. The Clippers came in as the No. 4 seed and the Thunder were the highest seed in the conference as No. 1. The Grizzlies took out the Clippers in six games, while taking out the Thunder in just five.

For the Spurs, they put away the Los Angeles Lakers and then following this sweep with a six-game series against the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors pushed them to the brink as the Spurs almost fell 0-2 at home against the young Golden State team with deadly pin-point shooters. The Spurs playoff savvy led them to this victory. The Spurs played defense and they completely shutdown Klay Thompson following his Game 2 explosion. Stephen Curry had trouble scoring as frequently as he wanted to.

So far in Game 1, the Spurs have been able to dominate the Grizzlies and slow down their big men. They outscored the Grizzlies 31-14, putting an early pounding in this hungry Grizzlies team trying to take this organization where it has never gone before. Both teams are shooting 50 percent, the difference has been four threes by the Spurs and their ability to grab offensive rebounds.

Early on, the Grizzlies look disorganized on offense and the Spurs are doing as they please on offense. The Spurs always find a way to look young and their transition game is completely overpowering the Grizzlies early on Game 1.

Currently, the score is 43-23 as the Spurs have their greatest lead of the game.
