The Washington Nationals released some sad news on Thursday, as an Atlanta-area television worker died while setting up equipment for the MLB Network on Wednesday for the game between the Atlanta Braves and the Washington Nationals at Turner Field.
According to SI.com, Reuben Porras, a 61-year-old Atlanta area worker, died from an apparent heart attack after collapsing at the stadium earlier. Nationals spokesman John Dever said the man collapsed on Wednesday night while setting up for the third game of a four-game series between the Nats and Braves. The Nationals won the game 2-0 and after he collapsed Washington's head athletic trainer, Lee Kuntz, and his assistant, John Hsu helped the man before he was taken to the hospital.
The report said he died later from a heart attack after being taken away from turner Field.
