The Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets has been one of the most entertaining playoff series of the NBA postseason and after dropping two games in a row, the Nuggets are down 2-1 in the series, making Sunday night's game at ORACLE Arena in Oakland a basic must-win situation.

Stephen Curry played his way through and ankle injury for the Warriors and now Golden State has momentum heading into Game 4 and they could take a commanding 3-1 series lead with a victory on Sunday night. The home crowd has been a huge factor for the Warriors this season and in the playoffs and the team is in a position to take command before heading back to Denver. The series has been one of the most evenly matched of the postseason in either the Eastern or Western conference and the Nuggets can easily bounce back to even up the series on Sunday.

Andre Miller helped the team win Game 1 with a last-second layup score and without that the Nuggets could be down 3-0 nothing and facing a sweep in California. The Warriors have been excellent shooting the ball in the series while shooting 64 and 52 percent during the past two games and they have also been able to top the Warriors in rebounding despite not having David Lee in the lineup due to an injury. Golden State took the victory 110-108 on Friday in an intense matchup and Sunday is expected to be more of the same. The Nuggets have been nearly unbeatable at home this season, but lost one game to the Warriors and now must find a way to take a victory on the road after going 19-22 during the regular season.

Ty Lawson scored 35 points in Game 3 and he has been producing much better over the second half of the season and the team will need more of that to win on Sunday. Stephen Curry has been the most important player in the series and he has been averaging 26 points and 11 assists during the series and he also has been shooting over 45 percent from the floor. The Warriors went 28-13 at home during the regular season and could put themselves in position to win the series in Game 5.
