The St. Louis Rams are one of the hot teams at the NFL draft, as they possess two first round draft picks after trading out of their spot last season so the Redskins could select Robert Griffin III and now the team has the chance to deal one of them for more picks.

According to ESPN.com, the Rams have the 16 and 22 picks in the first round and a number of teams have called about trading up to one of them, including the Vikings and 49ers. The Rams have a number of needs they could go after, including at wide receiver and cornerback. Some names that have come up in mock drafts for the Rams are Tavon Austin, Kenny Vaccaro and Alec Ogletree, while others see Eric Reid and Matt Elam as possibilities as well.

The Rams have needs at guard, linebacker and running back and could go after one of the offensive linemen in the draft, including DJ Fluker or Chance Warmack if he makes it down that far in the draft. Some mocks have Eddie Lacy as an option after the team lost Steven Jackson and the team could also go after Robert Woods or Zach Ertz depending on who gets picked ahead of them.

Tavon Austin is a target, but many teams have been pushing him up their boards and he could now go in the top 10 to some teams. The Rams need a wideout after having just Chris Givens, Brian Quick and Austin Pettis and the offense could use an upgrade for Sam Bradford, as they ranked 18th and 19th in passing and rushing yards per game last season.

The team went just 7-8-1 last year and showed some potential under new coach Jeff Fisher and will be using the draft to help turn things around.
