The NFL Draft starts up in full on Thursday and a number of teams already are trying to work their way into new positions, as a report says that at least five teams are looking to trade out of their draft spots in the top picks, including the Detroit Lions and the Buffalo Bills.

According to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter, Detroit Lions and the Buffalo Bills, as well as the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins and the Cleveland Browns are all looking to get out their draft spots in the first round to trade down. The Eagles have the number four pick in the draft and could take Dion Jordan or Eric Fisher, while the Browns likely want to move down to try and select Dee Milliner later than they would like to at number six.

The Buffalo Bills have the eighth pick but feel they can get their man Ryan Nassib later and the Miami Dolphins would like to add some picks as they work on rebuilding their roster. All the teams could find partners, as the Minnesota Vikings have expressed interest in trading up, as have the 49ers, as they want to try and draft Tavon Austin. The Dallas Cowboys have considered making a move in the first round and the San Diego Chargers could also trade up.

Updated news: Colorado Quarterback Out After Injury As Jordan Webb Will Miss Entire Season

As spring practices begin around college football teams are worried about injuries to key players and Colorado already has a crisis on its hands as quarterback Jordan Webb injured his knee and now will miss the upcoming 2013 season.

According to the Denver Post, Webb tore a ligament in his right knee while at spring practice for Colorado on Tuesday and the school confirmed the injury the following day. The release said that he was injured in a noncontact drill and tore the ACL in his right knee. Webb is a fifth year senior and now may try to get granted a sixth year of eligibility due to the nature of the injury and the timing.

Webb came to Colorado by way of Kansas and won the starting job heading into this season before getting hurt. Last season Webb through eight interceptions and eight touchdowns while Colorado went just 1-11 in the Pac-12. Mike MacIntyre was hired to replace fired coach Jon Embree and he commented that it was a "shame" that Webb was injured in practice.

Webb threw for 1,434 yards last season while starting most of the season and he previously redshirted as a freshman with Kansas after suffering a torn abdominal muscle and he will now be in a similar situation as he tried to come back from the knee injury. His best game last season came in a 35-34 win against Washington State that saw him throw for 345 yards and two touchdowns as well as a three-yard rushing touchdown.

Without Webb in the fold, junior quarterbacks Connor Webb and Nick Hirschman along with redshirt Shane Dillion will be in the running for the starting job. Colorado is playing their spring game on Saturday morning and the team will continue season prep through the summer.
