The Buffalo Bills have had an interesting offseason and after adding quarterback Kevin Kolb the team may not be finished bringing in new players ahead of the draft, as they reportedly met with linebacker Karlos Dansby.

According to NFL.com, ESPN reporter Adam Schefter wrote that Dansby met with the team on Monday and will again on Tuesday for the second time and could be brought in on a contract, as the team has depth issues at the position. Dansby is 31-years-old, but he led the Dolphins in tackles last year and been a durable player. The team ranked 31st in rushing yards allowed per game and need to upgrade talent at linebacker.

Dansby will turn 32 this season but he provides leadership and a veteran presence and he led the Dolphins with 134 tackles last year along with one sack and one fumble while not missing any games. He has played in 14 games in each of his seasons in the NFL and he hasn't missed a game in four of the past five seasons while missing just two games over three years with Miami. Dansby has started 127 games out of 136 in his career and he could be a solid starter for Buffalo.

The team will likely not go after a linebacker early if they bring in Dansby and that also could be bad news for Kelvin Sheppard, who has not produced at middle linebacker after becoming a starter. Dansby could slide in and start right away to give Doug Marrone a veteran leader on the field.

According to other reports from Adam Schefter, the Bills are interested in trading down in the first round and they still want to go after quarterback Ryan Nassib. Marrone loved Nassib in college at Syracuse and the team loves his arm strength and accuracy and he could be the quarterback of the future after Kevin Kolb.
