The NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway was an exciting one over the weekend, but two drivers were left a bit upset on Wednesday, as officials docked 25 points from both Brad Keselowki and Joey Logano and suspended members from both drivers teams.

According to ESPN.com, Keselowski and Logano each were docked 25 points after earning penalties on inspections during the race at Texas on Sunday, while both had team members suspended, with Sprint Cup champion Keselowski's Penske Racing squad losing four members and three coming from Logano's team. The report says that crew chiefs Paul Wolfe for Keselowski and Todd Gordon for Logano were suspended for six point races as well as the All-Star Race and also fined $100,000 each.

The report also says that team engineers as well as team manager Travis Geisler were given the same suspension and are now on probation until December. The racing team said that they would appeal the major infractions and that the team will remain intact over the weekend at Kansas Speedway until it is resolved. Keselowski took a big hit in the standings with the move, as he fell from second place to fourth place (nine points behind Jimmie Johnson) while Logano went from ninth to 14th and is now out of the top 10, which would give him a spot in the Chase.

Keselowski came out after the race over the weekend for confiscating the rear housing in his and Logano's cars before the race and he also lashed out at NASCAR officials for delaying his team in an inspection in Martinsville and then penalizing the team later on. NASCAR has tried to get strict on infractions over the past few years and Keselowski has been one of the drivers in the middle of it.

Kyle Busch double dipped over the weekend by winning the Texas race and the pole before the event and he will try to do it again this weekend in Kansas. The NASCAR schedule will then hit Richmond before going to Talladega.

"There's so much stuff going on, you guys have no idea -- you have no [expletive] idea what's going on," Keselowski told reporters after the Texas race. "I can tell you there is no team in this garage with the integrity of the 2 team."
