In his last start against the Baltimore Orioles, he went five innings allowing just one run on three hits. He got the no-decision.

The Red Sox have won both of the first games of the series and they will look to make it three straight over the Rays. The first matchup was a pitchers duel that resulted in a 2-1 finish. The Red Sox then shutout the Rays behind Clay Buccholz winning 5-0. The Red Sox are currently in first place in the A.L. East with a 7-4 record while the Rays are 4-7 sitting in last place.
