The Australians have put on a show through three rounds at the Masters at Augusta National, but on Saturday Brandt Snedeker and Angel Cabrera took the lead and will enter the final round in the last group at Augusta National, while Tiger Woods remained well in play after dealing with his penalty stroke controversy from the day before.

Tiger Woods had himself a share of the lead at one point on Saturday and Day at one point was one stroke ahead of Marc Leishman and Fred Couples who are each five under. Woods was having a heck of a round at Augusta before running into some trouble on the 15th hole, as he at one point was five under, but on that hole he hit a near perfect shot off the pole that ended up in the water, forcing him into a bogey. Woods shot a two under 70 on Thursday and his play on Friday kept him in the hunt at four shots back. He has won three times in the past after putting up a score of two under in the first round, but he hasn't won at Augusta since 2005.

Day had a strong day that resembled his play from back in 2011 when he came in second place and he was on his game all day Friday and heads into the weekend with the outright lead. Woods was making his way up the leaderboard in fast fashion before running into trouble on 15 and he now will have to find a way to tackle the back nine after struggling two days in a row. He finished the day with a three putt on the final hole and put up a 71 a day after shooting a 70.

Phil Mickelson had a rough day and continued to fall out of contention at Augusta, putting up a 76 in the second round after shooting a 71 on Thursday. Rory McIlroy was solid after getting some momentum by finishing second at the Texas Open last weekend and put up a two under 70 on Friday to stay in contention. Angel Cabrera put up a 69 to stay four under, while Bubba Watson put up a 73 the day after shooting a 75.

Tianlang Guan, the 14-year-old record setting youngster, shot a three over 75 to make the cut as the youngest player to make it at Augusta and he was the only amateur to continue into the weekend. The eighth grader dealt with a penalty stroke after some slow play, the first time that has happened in the Masters, yet he was able to overcome it to stay on.
