Sunrisers Hyderabad will be wary of the Gaylestorm after Royal Challengers Bangalore talisman Chris Gayle was declared for the IPL 2013 encounter at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium Sunday.
Both teams are coming off impressive wins, with will be keen to continue their run. RCB bowler R Vinay Kumar confirmed Gayle would be available for the game, after the big West Indian picked up an injury in their opening match against the Mumbai Indians.
"Chris Gayle is fit, he will feature in our match tomorrow (Sunday) against the Sunrisers Hyderabad," Vinay Kumar told reporters.
"The opposition always thinks about plans to counter Gayle, but we have a lot of other good players in the side, both from the international and domestic fronts. When Gayle doesn't fire, we always have other players in the side who have taken the responsibility to score well."
Vinay Kumar, who bowled a brilliant last over against MI to help his team to victory, believes the Sunrisers will give RCB a good game. "Whenever we have played against Hyderabad, it has always been a good game," he added. "Yes, we have back to back games against the Sunrisers, but we will have to stick to our basics and put up a good show tomorrow.
"With the kind of firepower in our batting and variety in our bowling, we are looking forward to playing them."
The strength of the Sunrisers is their bowling, spearheaded by the best bowler in the world in Dale Steyn, who was at his lethal best in the last game against Pune Warriors India.
"Every team has a plan when they go into a game," team mentor Kris Srikkanth said. "We like to keep things simple, we are playing a good side tomorrow, but we are willing to take the challenge and we are confident of it.
"Whatever the opposition, whatever the wicket condition, the energy in the camp is high on confidence which is what is important."
