After months of anticipation and excitement WrestleMania 29 has finally arrived and it will go down at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night after last years event at Sun Life Stadium in Miami and features a number of high-profile matchups.

The most anticipated battle of the event is The Rock against John Cena for the WWE Championship and the fight has been building all year as the two have danced around each other. The path to the match got started after John Cena won the Royal Rumble earlier in the year, giving him a chance to get a title match at WrestleMania 29 and on the next night on Monday night Raw, he said that he would be setting a match against the reigning WWE champion. One month later the Rock won the Elimination Chamber and defended the title against CM Punk, after which Punk decided to challenge Cena for the spot in the championship match. Cena took the match and set up another rematch from last year's WrestleMania battle between the two.

Cena has done a good job of getting things heated as the two head towards the match, but The Rock will be a hard one to get the championship from. It might be the right time to pass the torch and with all eyes on MetLife Stadium, Cena could be the winner. The two have been going at each other hard after the Rock defeated Cena last year and it could be time he turns a heel, as the two needed to be held back from each other at the WrestleMania press conference on Thursday at Radio City.

The pre show match will be between Wade Barrett and The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship, while the Undertaker will fight CM Punk in a singles match. Triple H and Brock Lesnar will be battling and with Paul Heyman and Shawn Michaels on the side things could get very exciting. Chris Jericho and Fandango will also battle and gives Jericho a chance to get a win after hanging onto the world heavyweight title at WrestleMania 26.

The event is expected to be seen by millions around the world and the stadium could have over 70,000 people on Sunday. CM Punk will try to end The Undertaker's perfect record at WrestleMania, while the WWE will also have their Hall of Fame celebration on Saturday night at MSG before Raw hits the Izod Center on Monday.
