The first part of the 2013 NFL schedule was released on Thursday for the upcoming preseason and there are a number of intriguing matchups, including the Hall of Fame game between the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins that will start the preseason.
The first week has a primetime game between the Falcons and the Bengals, while other matchups include the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos. Both the 49ers and the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens will play in primetime. The schedule has each of the 12 playoff teams in a primetime game during the preseason, including 49ers against the Vikings as well as the Saints and Texans.
The Giants and Steelers will face off in the first week after playing against each other in the regular season last year, while the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off to give the first look at new head coach Chip Kelly. The Jets will play against the Lions and some other matchups include the Vikings and Texans and the Cowboys playing the Raiders.
