Boston Bruins vs. Philadelphia Flyers Live Stream: Watch Online NHL Eastern Conference Saturday Action 1 PM ET

Mar 30, 2013 12:28 PM EDT

The Boston Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers meet up for the second time this season as both fight for position in the Eastern Conference standings. The Bruins are running next to the Montreal Canadiens for first place in the Northeast Division where every point is vital at this point. The Philadelphia Flyers are in danger of not making the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since the 2006-07 season. With 15 games remaining, they need a win on Saturday.

The Bruins found themselves in a scoring drought after only scoring eight goals in the past five games, but they erupted in a win on Wednesday, scoring six goals. Boston is still recovering from the loss of not signing Jerome Iginla who ended up signing with the Pittsburgh Penguins. This makes Boston's quest to win the Eastern Conference much more difficult. The team has lost back-to-back games and are currently in a 2-3-1 hole. Their power play is hurting their game right now as they have only one goal in the last 14 chances over six games. The team has won four straight against the Flyers.

Philadelphia's season has been hampered by injuries and lack of confidence. The team has lost four straight while going 3-6-2 in the month of March. This has caused them to nearly drop entirely out of the Eastern Conference standings. Flyers' captain Claude Giroux is the only one on the team scoring, netting two goals and six points in the past four games. Their power play has been a strength. They have scored on their last four power-play chances, however they face a Bruins penalty kill unit that leads the NHL at 91.2 percent.
