Mar 18, 2013 10:37 AM EDT

The Dominican Republic faces the Netherlands in what should be an intriguing 2013 World Baseball Classic semifinals Monday night in San Francisco. There are two more games left at the WBC so find out where you can watch the live action as one of these two teams will advance and face Puerto Rico in the championship.

TIME: 9 p.m. ET

WHERE to WATCH: MLB Network, ESPN America, DirecTV, CDN, Sky Mexico

This is almost a match made in heaven as the Dominican Republic can get payback for what the Netherlands did to them back in 2009. The Dominicans have always been a favorite, especially when sporting a lineup with guys like Albert Pujols and David Ortiz in their lineup. However, that year, the Dominicans were bounced in the first round by a hungry Netherlands team.

The Dominicans lost both games by a run and were eliminated prematurely. They were embarrassed and now, they can clinch a spot in the championships to face a foe they have defeated twice already in the WBC.

For the Netherlands, they are looking at a chance to once again prove that they do not need a ton of established major league talent to have success in a tournament. They face the Dominican powerhouse and this victory is even greater than the ones they scored before because: 1) they can eliminate the Dominicans from contention 2) they can advance to the championship round and 3) they can give the Dominicans their first loss of the tournament. Basically, there's a lot they can achieve with a victory tonight.

On the mound for the Dominicans with the responsibility of stop the Netherlands team that has scored 35 runs will be Edison Volquez. The Kingdom of the Netherlands will have Diegomar Markwell on the mound.

The Netherlands were bludgeoned by Japan twice squeezing a victory that eliminated Cuba from the tournament. The Dominicans on the other hand cruised through their games once again in the second round of the tournament.

This might be a game filled with offense, but who knows what will happen. The Puerto Ricans are resting and awaiting an opponent, find out who will win this semifinals matchup.
