Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and their new relationship was one of the biggest topics in the sport when the season started and things went to an even bigger level after Patrick won the pole at Daytona and later led laps in the race as the first woman to do so.

The relationship between the two went public in February, just a couple months after Patrick announced she was divorcing from her husband Paul Hospenthal, and it has quickly gotten serious. Sources that are close to Patrick said that the 30-year-old barrier breaker and her five-years younger boyfriend are very eager to get married.

According to ShowBizSpy.com, "After Danica spun out of control and hit the wall, Ricky was the first thing that came to her mind," said an insider. "She's madly in love with him and wants to be his bride. Friends predict they'll have a racetrack wedding soon."

Patrick crashed while racing two weeks ago at Phoenix International Raceway after blowing a tire. Her No. 10 car crashed into the wall, after which she was rammed into by David Ragan's car at full speed, knocking her across the track. Patrick was okay despite the fact that her hood flew off her car and littered the track with debris.

Stenhouse later said that he was concerned for Patrick, but he was concentrated on the race himself and figured that if she was hurt, his crew would let him know and they did not tell him that she was while the race was still going on. Danica will also be racing with a green paint scheme for the Bristol race o Sunday.

Patrick had a fantastic start to the season after becoming the first woman to win the pole at the Daytona 500 and she set the same milestone later in the race when she led a number of laps. After her crash at Phoenix, Patrick dealt with a violation and struggled at Las Vegas, finishing in the bottom half of the results. Patrick and Stenhouse head to Bristol on Sunday, where she had one Sprint Cup start last season and finished 29th.

Patrick will be using her car on Sunday at Bristol to honor St. Patrick 's Day, as he No. 10 Chevrolet for GoDaddy.com will be decked out in a green paint scheme for the holiday. The car has shamrocks round her usual logos and sponsorships and she will use the scheme as a good luck charm after crashing into the  wall at Phoenix.
