No. 1 ranked Miami was on a hiatus. They haven't been in action since Mar. 9 when they defeated the Clemson Tigers 62-49. They closed their regular season on a positive note after losing three out of their four previous games. They take on a Boston College team that is carrying a lot of momentum into this matchup.
The Eagles closed their season on a three-game winning streak and defeated Georgia Tech for the second consecutive time in less than a week. After beating them in a close 74-72 matchup in the final game of the regular season, Boston College mercilessly defeated the Yellow Jackets 84-64 in the first round of the tournament on Thursday.
Today, however, things don't look too sweet for Boston College as they have yet to beat the Hurricanes in 2013. They met once back in January and lost by one point in a 60-59 finale. Then, they met once again in the beginning of February and they didn't come close losing 72-50.
