Hunter Pence Sings, Eyes Look Intimidating (Video)

Mar 05, 2013 01:24 PM EST

It's no surprise that Hunter Pence is making videos and placing them online. He's one of the most unorthodox players in baseball and the world got to see Pence in the spotlight as he was the right fielder for the San Francisco Giants in the World Series.

Pence is considered an eccentric being. He didn't do a lot to get his team into the playoffs, but he provided motivational words and team huddles that eventually powered the Giants especially after being just a game from elimination at the hands of the Cincinnati Reds in the 2012 NLDS. We know how that story concluded as the Giants steamrolled past the Reds in the next three games. They won in St. Louis against the Cardinals and then swept the Detroit Tigers.

Hunter owns a ring and that obviously gives him the right to do whatever he pleases, even if it means posting a video of himself singing along with what appears to be one of his favorite songs, Calvin Harris' "Feel So Close." Here's what it's supposed to sound like.

It's a pretty catchy tune that's pretty much all over television and the radio.

Check out Pence's rendition to the song here. It's brought to you by MLB.com. Immediately, his eyes are the first thing that are noticeable. Those big light eyes that pop out in a very intense way.

He then begins to make faces as he's driving, which is probably unsafe because Pence continues to look down at his phone or camera after placing on his lap.

The lady next to him should have made an executive decision and just taken the phone and recorded herself.

Though this may be embarrassing to some, the only way to explain this is by saying, "Hey, it's Hunter Pence. Worry when Derek Jeter decides to give us something to write every day.

Pence will continue his career with the Giants after they acknowledged his one-year option. He hit 24 homers, drove in 124 runs and batted .253 in 2012 with both the Philadelphia Phillies and Giants.
