Jacoby Jones is one of the fastest players in the NFL and now he will get a chance to test out how fast he is on the dance floor as he joins ABC's hit show "Dancing With the Stars".

According to ESPN.com, Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl XLVII hero and kick returner Jacoby Jones will be starring on the 16th season of the show, which was announced Sunday night. The rest of the cast for the season will be released on Tuesday on "Good Morning America".

Filming for the show will begin next month and the 28-year-old will be showing off the legs he used to take a kick return a playoff-record 108-yards in the Super Bowl. He also had a leaping 56-yard touchdown reception in which he was able to spin around a defender to score.

The 28-year-old wideout was named first team All-Pro this year and had previously said he was interested in joining the show when he was a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" earlier this month, saying "Oh yes sir ... I'll get it done. I'll get it done, baby."

Jones follows in the footsteps of many other athletes who have been on the show, including Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith, former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward and former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver.

Jones' future is still a bit up in the air, as the Ravens have to decide whether to pay him a $1 million roster bonus on March 16 and $3 million in base salary next season. Jones was a huge part of the playoff success for the team this season and the team will likely try to get him an extended deal to bring his cap number down for next year so they can sign quarterback Joe Flacco.

Jones will likely miss the mandatory June minicamp if he is successful on the show, since it lasts until May. Ward, Smith and Driver all won the show when they participated, including Ward, who was with the Steelers in 2011 when he did it.
