Ronda Rousey Makes Weight For UFC 157 For Fight Against Liz Carmouche, Olympic Judo Medalist and Marine Face Off In Anaheim

Feb 23, 2013 12:35 PM EST

Ronda Rousey is already the first female champion in UFC history, but until the final bell rings on Saturday night, the former Olympic bronze medal winner in judo will not feel like a winner.

Rousey and Carmouche weighed in for the fight on Friday, with the former Olympian coming in at 134.6 pounds and the mariner coming in at 133.6 pounds. The fight is being held in Anaheim and is the first ever UFC match between two women.

The UFC made Rousey a champion last year at bantamweight to set up this fight in February. Last year she defeated Miesha Tate with her signature armbar move to win the Strikeforce title in March of last year. Rousey has won all her fights by using an armbar and all six of her professional victories have come in less than 90 seconds.

"I don't (feel like the UFC champion)," Rousey said to ESPN.com. "Probably after I win this fight, I'll say it again. Every time it's a new fight to me."

Making the match tough on Saturday is the fact that Camouche has never been armbarred before in her career.

The UFC event will have a number of other bouts, including a light-heavyweight fight that is scheduled as a co-main event between Dan Henderson and Lyoto Machida. Henderson, who is 29-8, came in at 205 pounds, while his opponent came in at 202.

Eveery fighter taking plavce in fights on Saturday made weight except one, with welterweight Nah-Shon Burrell coming in at 175.8 for his fight against Yuri Villefort.
